Area & Environment

Mount 7 Lodges sits on over 60 private acres less than 7 km south of Golden, BC and less than 20 km from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

Located in the heart of Kicking Horse Country, we are flanked to the west by the Purcell Mountain Range and to the East by the Canadian Rockies.

We are located in the midst of six national mountain parks – Banff, Jasper, Yoho, Kootenay, Glacier and Mount Revelstoke. In addition, we are also close to Bugaboo Provincial Park, Hamber Provincial Park, and Upper Cummins Lakes Provincial Park.

Golden sits at the confluence of the Kicking Horse River and the Columbia river, and just south of Mount 7 are the longest unspoiled wetlands in North America.

Coupled with an ideal climate of long hot summers and champagne powder filled winters, Golden is an ideal location for outdoor activities and recreation.
