Summer at the Lodge
During the summer months (June-September), Heather Mountain Lodge is an adventure tourism lodge; and is the ideal place from which to base tour adventure holiday, or an overnight rest as you travel the Trans-Canada Highway

  • White-water rafting on the renowned Kicking Horse River
  • Canoeing on the Columbia River wetlands
  • Mountain biking, ranging from radical downhill descents on Mount Seven, to casual cross-country rides

Winter at the Lodge
During the winter season (December-April), Heather Mountain Lodge is a heli-skiing lodge, and the home to its sister company Great Canadian Heli-Skiing. A maximum of 24 guests each week enjoy a thousand square miles (2,500 square Km) of untracked Selkirk powder in groups of four skiers, one guide, and a helicopter.
