Wet ‘N’ Wild Adventures Ltd. offers unforgettable daily white water trips on the mighty Kicking Horse River. Wet ‘N’ Wild is a family run business that has been operating for over 15 years and we pride ourself on customer service. The Wet N Wild office is located in Golden BC right in the heart of Kicking Horse country. Offering rafting trips from May till September, the Wet N Wild staff invites you to join the adventure.

 

Transportation:

Wet N Wild Adventures offers a daily Shuttle service from Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise for the full day trip only. Shuttle fee is $15 per person. Please ask booking agent for pick up time when booking your trip. The shuttle takes you through the majestic rocky mountians where our proffessional driver will inform you of points of interest along the way. All of our shuttles are new, clean, and well maintianed.

 

We Provide:

• Free transportation to and from the river from our office in Golden.
• Wet suits, booties, and gloves (cleaned daily).
• Goverment approved life jackets and helmets.
• Spay jackets and wool sweaters.
• Quality river and saftey gear.
• Experienced Goverment certified river guide.
• Mouth watering lunch (full day & introduction only)
• Out of town shuttle availible for full day guests for only $15 per person.

You Provide:

• Swim wear.
• Towel.
• Water proof camera (optional)
• A smile.

Wet N Wild Adeventures company Ltd. and guides are Government certified. We are trained in wilderness first aid and river rescue ensuring proffesional and safe river trips. The Wet N Wild Adventure Company Ltd. makes every effort to assure a safe trip, however do to the nature of the sport neither the company nor the staff shall be responsible for any damages, injuries, losses, delays, or expenses whether to person or property. You must acknowledge these risks in the river running by signing a liability release prior to the departure.
We are members of the Kicking Horse Rafting Association, Golden Chamber of Commerce, and the Rocky Mountian Visitor Association.

The Kicking Horse river is divided into 3 10km sections.

Saturdays - 2008

On Saturdays we will only be offering our Full Day trip and our Double Excitment Trip.
Full Day 9AM - 12:30 PM Please arrive 30 mins. in advance $94.00 NO LUNCH (with shuttle from Canmore, Banff or LakeLouise $110 (CDN) per person plus 5%
Double Excitment 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM Please arrive 30 mins in advance $119.00 (CDN) per person plus 5%

2008 - Full Day

20km Class 1-4 Rapids, sections 1 & 2
This is a great trip for newcomers to the sport. The trip starts at a relaxing scenic pace with opportuntities to view various plant and wildlife species. We stop after 9 kms for a mouth watering BBQ lunch riverside. Lunch consist of BBQ steak, chicken, smokies, salad, cold drinks, and cookies for dessert. After lunch its back to the raft for the remaining 9 kms where you will encounter some of best white water the Kicking Horse has to offer. Transportation from our office in Golden to and from the river is free. We do offer a shuttle service from Banff, Canmore, and Lake Louise for $16 per person (Only with full day trip).

Age restriction is 12 yrs and 90lbs.

Departure Time: 10AM

$99 (CDN) per person plus 5% tax

With shuttle from Canmore, Banff or Lake Louise $115 (CDN) per person plus 5%

 

2008 - Half Day

10kms Class 1-4 Rapids, section 2
Our half-day guests will join our full day guest down the middle section of the Kicking Horse River where they will encounter some of the best white water on the river. The half-day trip offers 1km of continous class 4 white water and lots of class 3 to follow. Age restriction is 12yrs and 90 lbs, however we do advise that children under 14 do the full day trip.
Departure Time: 12PM

$69 (CDN) per person plus 5% tax

 

2008 -Lower Canyon

10 kms Class 1-4 rapids, section 3
Wet N Wild Adventures runs the lower canyon on a daily basis. This section of river can be added to your full or half day trip. The lower canyon is the most challanging section of river and is suited for the adreniline seeker. We do not recommend this section for first time rafters. The lower canyon has 2.5 km of continous class 4 white water. This section also offers beautiful scenic views. Age restriction is 16yrs.

$69 (CDN) per person plus 5% tax

 

2008 - Double Excitement

20 kms Class 1-4 Rapids, sections 2 & 3
This trip is a combo of the half-day and lower canyon. The double excitment will give a rush to the most experienced rafter.
Departure Time: 12PM

$119 (CDN) per person plus 5% tax

 

2008 - Full Day + Lower Canyon

All 3 sections 30 kms Class 1-4 Rapids
This is every section of the Kicking Horse River, and is the best trip offered. A mouthwatering BBQ lunch is served riverside with this trip.
Departure Time: 10:00AM

$149 (CDN) per person plus 5% tax

Prices do not include 5% goods and services tax.

Cancellation policy is 48 hrs or total tour costs charged as penalty.
Group cancellations - 2 weeks prior or total tour costs charged as penalty.
We are on MOUNTAIN STANDARD TIME which is the some time as Alberta.

Wet N Wild reserves the right to cancel trip due to insufficient booking or adverse weather conditions.
