Bear Viewing Experiences

Black, brown and white bears are a spectacular sight, and our Bear Viewing Experiences are the perfect way to watch these magnificent animals in their natural habitat. Glendale Cove in Knight Inlet is home to one of the largest concentrations of grizzly (brown) bears in British Columbia. It is common for up to 40 bears to be within a few kilometres of the lodge during the peak fall season when the salmon are running up the Glendale River.

Churchill, Manitoba is referred to as "The Polar Bear Capital of the World", but the bears are not the only wildlife attraction. Caribou, Arctic fox, wolf and Arctic hare, are just some of the other amazing animals you may encounter. Sunrises, sunsets and views of the Northern Lights are a once in a lifetime experience for many and won’t soon be forgotten.
