PureWest Energy Selected as “Best Place to Work” by Denver Business Journal for Second Consecutive Year

DENVER, CO – PureWest Energy, LLC (“PureWest”), a leading Rocky Mountain independent natural gas producer recognized for its low methane emission rates, was honored with the “Best Place to Work” distinction by the Denver Business Journal in the Large Company category for the second consecutive year. Evident in its stated core values, PureWest takes great pride in the company’s commitment to creating a positive and safe experience for its employees.

“The Denver Business Journal’s continued recognition is a testament to our shared commitment of fostering an inclusive culture where every employee feels valued, supported, and respected,” said PureWest Chief Executive Officer Chris Valdez. “At PureWest, we believe that our success is not only measured by our financial position, but also by the well-being and satisfaction of our employees, and I am proud to work with an innovative team that is pushing the boundaries of clean, best-in-class natural gas production.”

This award recognizes workplaces that provide the best in the West corporate culture, benefits and policies. The Denver Business Journal utilizes an independent survey of Denver-based employees, conducted and analyzed by Quantum Workplace, to evaluate selected companies’ employees’ trust in senior leadership, compensation and benefits, as well as overall company culture. In 2024, nearly 200 companies were nominated, and 65 companies were selected to participate in the review process. PureWest ranked as the number one large company to work for in Denver with a score of 95, an increase from its 2023 score of 94.50.

Through the nomination process, PureWest was recognized for its comprehensive community engagement programs that encourage direct employee engagement in the areas the company operates and professional development initiatives that enable employees to pursue additional learning opportunities. For example, every employee receives extra paid time off for volunteer efforts, and PureWest offers a generous match for donations employees make to nonprofits. Additionally, PureWest offers 100% tuition reimbursements for continued education, licensing or accreditation programs that align with employees current or future roles.

PureWest will continue to invest in its employees, communities and assets to ensure the company delivers essential energy in the most responsible and efficient manner possible. To learn more about PureWest’s commitments to its people, please visit https://purewest.com/corporate-responsibility/.
